Book your Trial Instructional Flight (TIF) - Contact Us

The main idea about a Trial Instructional Flight (TIF) is to provide you with an introduction to a  flight training experience with Recliffe Flight Training.  This hands on flight experience will allow you to try out our brand new Tecnam aircraft, have a look at our lovely premises at the Redcliffe Aerodrome and meet our friendly instructors. After enjoying a coffee on our deck overlooking the runway, your flight instructor will complete a ground briefing with you before taking to the air. Choose from a 30min, 45min or 1 hour flight and have a go at the controls to get a better feel of the aircraft. Enjoy a birds eye view of the beautiful Moreton Bay and Brisbane at safe altitudes and practice a couple of circuits under close supervision of your experienced instructor. Redcliffe Flight Training will supply you with a free temporary RA-Aus membership for your TIF.  The instructor can take the time to answer all your queries re flight training and features of our brand new aircraft.

Converting to RA-Aus from GA (PPL, CPL)

You may already hold a PPL or CPL and choose to convert to a Recreational Flight Training Qualification to pilot an RA-Aus aircraft or you would like to avoid any difficulty or simply the trouble and expense of maintaining your GA Aviation Medical. Perhaps you would love to get into a new substantial aircraft, with good speed, comfort, latest cockpit avionics at an affordable price. i.e. Our Tecnam Aircraft.

Conversion training is required for a GA pilot to fly RA-Aus aircraft which requires a minimum of 5 hours experience in an RA-Aus registered aircraft of which minimum 1 hour will be pilot in command. If you already have your radio operator and cross country endorsements, RA-Aus will accept these without further training or testing.  Redcliffe Flight training is welcoming many ex GA pilots to the experience of flying a modern light sports aircraft, robust and stable ie The Tecnam P92 Eaglet.
